Aug 28, 2021 · Homebrew doesn't detect a USB device, neither does GX, though WiiFlow sees the drive and the game on it. With the primary cable in port1, the HDD's LED powers up when turning on the Wii. Homebrew doesn't display apps in this orientation but does detect the USB device.

Here's how for any future readers with the same problem: USB Loader GX does not support loading Wii games from SD at all.
